CHARACTERS

	Dr. Horrible Also known as Billy, Dr. Horrible has is an aspiring supervillain with "a PhD in Horribleness". He desires to become a member of Bad Horse's Evil League of Evil, to use his inventions to take over the world and enact social change for the betterment of humanity.
	Moist A friend of Dr. Horrible, who has the underwhelming ability to dampen things.
	Penny Dr. Horrible's love interest, whom he sees at the coin laundromat. She is idealistic and generous and volunteers at a homeless shelter. Captain Hammer later dates her to spite Dr. Horrible.
	Captain Hammer Dr. Horrible's arch-nemesis. He is a self-centered superhero possessing super-human strength and near-invulnerability. He enjoys harassing Dr. Horrible even when the situation does not warrant it.

PLOT SUMMARY

Act One
Dr. Horrible is filming an entry for his video blog. Moist, his friend, brings a letter from Bad Horse. The letter informs Dr. Horrible that his application for entry into the League will be evaluated, and that they will be watching for his next heinous crime. This prompts Dr. Horrible to steal a case of wonderflonium for his new freeze ray, which leads to Captain Hammer appearing to foil his plan.

Act Two
Penny and Captain Hammer begin to date, with Dr. Horrible angrily stalking them. The next day, he completes his freeze ray and blogs about his plan to use it the next day. He is publicly humiliated as Captain Hammer was prepared. Bad Horse warns him that unless he successfully murders someone, he will not be able to join the League. After Hammer taunts Dr. Horrible about Penny, Dr. Horrible resolves to kill Captain Hammer.

Act Three
Captain Hammer achieves Penny's cause by convincing the mayor to convert an old building into a homeless shelter. Dr. Horrible interrupts Captain Hammer's speech on the opening night of the homeless shelter, freezing him with the freeze ray. However, he cannot bring himself to shoot him with his death ray. The revived Captain Hammer attempts to use the broken death ray on him, which explodes. Penny is killed from the shrapnel and through her death Dr. Horrible is accepted into the Evil League of Evil.
